Having been changed for life after our experiences overseas in Southeast Asia, we, a mother-daughter team, decided we had to find a way to contribute to such a rich but underserved region of the world. Thriving off of creativity, we began working with women overseas on product designs for the United States. The result was a line of silk handbags with finely crafted hand embroidery and beading. That line has since blossomed into leather and suede fine handbags, beaded shoes, detailed shawls, personal accessories, and exquisitely embroidered silk and velvet blouses.

In building our collection of fine handbags, clothing and accessories, we’ve come to view the roles of women in the fashion world from a global perspective. We clearly see that in developing countries the challenge of earning a living while raising a family is enormous. And we’ve learned that as consumers, designers and retailers, we can change that.
